What cookies are
Cookies are small text records saved by a browser. Similar browser storage, such as local storage, can retain a preference on the same device. revieer uses these technologies only for the purposes described below.
Essential cookies
Essential cookies keep signed-in accounts secure, maintain an authenticated session and support protected dashboard actions. They are necessary for the service to work and cannot be disabled through the cookie banner. The cookie banner also stores your choice for one year so it does not ask on every visit.
The session cookie is HTTP-only, SameSite-protected and HTTPS-only in production. Its normal lifetime is limited by the configured account session period.
Optional analytics
Optional analytics may be used to understand visits and improve the service. Analytics code is not loaded through the banner unless you select “Accept analytics”. Selecting “Essential only” leaves optional analytics disabled.
revieer does not use the cookie banner to authorize advertising cookies or the sale of browsing profiles.
Your saved choice
Your selection is stored in the first-party revieer_cookie_consent cookie for up to 365 days. A matching time-stamped record may also be kept in your browser's local storage to remember when the choice was made. These records contain the selected category and consent-policy version, not your account password or review content.
Change or withdraw your choice
You can clear cookies and site data for revieer.com in your browser settings to make the banner appear again. You can also block cookies in the browser, but blocking essential cookies prevents sign-in and some protected dashboard functions from working.
