Clear terms,
responsible use.

The practical rules for operating an account and publishing reviews through revieer.

Terms of serviceLast updated: 3 September 2026

Agreement and account ownership

By creating an account or using revieer, you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. You must provide accurate information, keep your password and account access secure, and use the service only for websites and domains you own or are authorized to manage. The account holder is responsible for activity performed through the account and for the actions of anyone given access to it.

What revieer provides

revieer provides hosted review-submission forms, email verification, optional moderation, public review pages, embeddable review widgets, business branding, account notifications and subscription management. Features available to an account depend on its active plan and subscription status.

The App ID and public key generated for a workspace are intended for the public website integration. They do not grant dashboard access. Account passwords, reset links, service credentials and private server keys must not be shared or embedded in a website.

Plans and account types

Free

The Free plan covers one website, the standard widget and up to 50 new review submissions per calendar month. It does not include the complete Style Tool.

Premium

Premium is an annual subscription for one website, unlimited review submissions and access to the complete Style Tool.

Agency

Agency is an annual subscription with unlimited review submissions, complete styling controls and three total website slots, including the main Agency workspace. Additional website slots can be purchased annually. Each client website remains a separate workspace controlled by the Agency account holder.

Current prices, included capacity and available features are shown on the Pricing and Plan & billing pages. “Unlimited” remains subject to fair use, technical safeguards and the acceptable-use rules below.

Subscriptions, payments and cancellation

Stripe processes checkout, recurring subscription payments, payment methods and invoices. Paid plans renew annually until canceled. Taxes may be calculated or added by Stripe where applicable. Additional Agency slots may create an immediate prorated invoice when their quantity changes.

A cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Until then, paid access remains available. When Premium ends, the account moves to Free and saved premium styling is removed. When Agency ends, the main workspace moves to Free, its paid styling is removed and client workspaces are deactivated. A new paid plan can be purchased after the previous subscription has ended.

Except where required by law or expressly stated during checkout, fees already paid are not automatically refundable merely because an account is canceled before the end of its billing period.

Submitting and verifying reviews

A reviewer submits a name, email address, rating and review text through a form associated with a workspace. revieer sends a short-lived code to the supplied address. The review cannot be published unless that code is entered correctly before it expires and within the permitted number of attempts.

Email verification confirms control of the supplied inbox at that time. It does not independently prove that every statement in a review is accurate, that a purchase occurred, or that the reviewer has no relationship with the business.

Publication and moderation

After email verification, a review may be published automatically or placed in the account owner's moderation queue, depending on the active service configuration. Account owners can approve, reject or remove reviews from public display. They must apply moderation lawfully and must not selectively manipulate feedback in a misleading way.

Public review pages and widgets display only reviews in the published state. Brief caching may delay a change from appearing on an embedded website. revieer may restrict or remove content when reasonably necessary for security, legal compliance or enforcement of these terms.

Third-party review sources

Paid plans may connect supported Google Business Profile, Google Play and Apple App Store accounts. The account owner confirms that it controls or is authorized to access every connected profile, API credential and application. Imported reviews remain attributed to the originating platform and are not represented as reviews collected or email-verified by revieer.

Third-party availability, API limits, data coverage and permissions are controlled by Google or Apple and may change. Account owners are responsible for complying with each provider's display, attribution, privacy and marketing rules, obtaining any permission required to reuse reviewer content, and disconnecting access that is no longer authorized. revieer may suspend an integration when credentials fail or continued synchronization would violate a provider requirement.

Review content and rights

Reviewers and account owners must not submit or publish fabricated reviews, spam, malware, personal data that should not be public, confidential information, threats, harassment, discriminatory content, unlawful material or content that infringes another person's rights. Incentivized reviews must be disclosed where applicable.

The person submitting content retains their rights in it but grants revieer the limited permission needed to store, process, verify, format and display it through the service. The account owner confirms that it has a lawful basis to display the business identity, logo and review content associated with its workspace.

Widget installation and domains

A production widget is authorized only for its connected and verified hostname. The account owner must place the supplied domain-verification file on a domain it controls and install the generated snippet without exposing private credentials. Rotating the public key invalidates the previous embed immediately, and the account owner is responsible for updating every affected website.

You must not bypass domain restrictions, request limits, verification checks or account controls; probe private routes; interfere with other users; scrape the service abusively; or use the widget in a way that introduces malicious code or misrepresents revieer.

Branding and Style Tool

Account owners can change the displayed business name and upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP logo within the stated size limit. They are responsible for having permission to use uploaded assets. Premium and Agency accounts can modify responsive layouts, colors, typography, animation, individual cards and custom CSS through the Style Tool.

Style changes are saved automatically and applied to the corresponding public widget. Custom CSS can affect usability, accessibility and layout; the account owner is responsible for testing it on the connected website. Resetting styles restores revieer's defaults. Paid styles are not retained as an active entitlement after the applicable paid plan ends.

Email communications

Essential emails include reviewer verification codes and account-security messages such as password resets and password-change alerts. These cannot be disabled while using the relevant feature. Account owners can manage optional review, limit, workspace and newsletter messages from Email preferences. Stripe may send separate billing communications under its own systems and policies.

Availability and changes

We work to keep revieer available, accurate and secure, but uninterrupted operation, permanent storage or compatibility with every website builder cannot be guaranteed. Maintenance, hosting incidents, email delivery, browser behavior and third-party services may affect availability. Features may be corrected, improved, replaced or discontinued where reasonably necessary.

Suspension and termination

Access may be limited or suspended when an account creates security or legal risk, fails payment, abuses the service, infringes rights or materially violates these terms. Account owners may stop using the service and cancel a paid subscription through the available billing controls. Legal, security and payment records may be retained where reasonably required after access ends.

Responsibility and liability

Account owners remain responsible for their websites, representations, review collection practices, moderation decisions and compliance with applicable consumer, advertising, privacy and sector-specific laws. To the extent permitted by law, revieer is provided without a guarantee that it will meet every business requirement, and revieer is not responsible for indirect loss caused by customer content, third-party services or unauthorized use outside its reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Privacy, cookies, security and changes to these terms

How personal information is handled is described in the Privacy Policy, and browser storage choices are described in the Cookies Policy. The practical safeguards applied to accounts, reviews, domains, widgets and infrastructure are described in the Security model. These terms may be updated as the service changes. The current revision date is displayed above, and material changes will be communicated where reasonably required.
